We are looking for individuals and groups who would like to lead a Pliking event – Picking up Litter while hIKING. We provide project assistance, training, sanitized equipment and bling for the volunteers.
Past volunteers have said this is one of the most meaningful things they have done. One volunteer wrote “As we clean up trash we are opening up paths of healing. What a wonderful way to strengthen our community by offering miles of peace and tranquility along our trails, biking paths and waterways.”
Pliking Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 dedicated to litter cleanup and prevention through a variety of programs, including cleanup groups, trailhead booths, social media and presentations. We have many other volunteer opportunities that are both scheduled and flexible, outdoors and more technical. If you enjoy helping to create a cleaner community while building close friendships from working together, we have a place for you! Scheduled opportunities include cleanup events, trailhead booths and school presentations. Flexible ones include website and social media support, videography and brochure design, as well as individual/family cleanup activities.
