Pliking Inc. is Ogden’s homegrown litter cleanup nonprofit, and we host events all over the city — on trails, in parks, along the river, and in neighborhoods. Our events are casual, welcoming, and built around the idea that cleaning up where you live should feel good, not like a chore.

No experience needed. We’ll show you the ropes.
Supplies included. Grabbers, bags, gloves, and vests provided.
All ages welcome. Families, students, seniors, solo adventurers — everyone is a pliker.

Can’t Make a Group Event?

Go solo! Grab a bag on your next walk, hike, or bike ride and log your hours through the Pliking App. Solo plikers are just as important as group volunteers — every piece of litter picked up is one less piece in the Ogden River or on a local trail.

Ogden is a city worth caring for. Come help us keep it that way.

The Ogden City Pliking 27 Challenge Has Begun!

Join the Challenge

Here’s how it works: Pick up Litter while hIKING/bIKING Ogden’s 27 Trails. Then record the trails pliked on the 27 Challenge map to qualify for prizes. Present the map to a Pliking leader at a cleanup event to receive your prize!

14 Trails earns a Pliking water bottle filled with bling, and 27 trails earns a custom patch, as well as one item from a selection of hats, shirts and other gear.

Free trail maps, grabbers, gloves and trash bags are available for all registrants.

Want to get credit for hiking more than just the Pliking 27 Challenge trails? Plike 4 or more of the Trails Foundation of Northern Utah Trails and earn prizes from them. Just log the trail on the Pliking 27 Challenge map as to get credit.
